The Real Me

Taken from my mind
are dreams I wanted to know
are slumbers I wish to have
are friends I once loved so much.

Now filling my mind
are nightmares I did not want
are bars to keep me locked in
are restraints that bind my wings.

For I will never fly
heading into a pale blue sky
for I will no longer soar
I live the life I abhor

Forever I long to be
on a cloud, oh so free
but never do they see
who’s inside, the real me.

Wait.... An Undead Antichrist Superstar filled with Darkness and covered with Shimmering Scars and Colors that is wondering, “What's This Life For?” on a Lonely Day. He’s always looking for Another Way To Die, so he can be Driven Under the Cemetery Gates because he does not want to be an American Idiot, which would be The Great American Nightmare. He, in a Careless Whisper, says, “Everybody Knows that Every Rose Has It's Thorn.” Then he meets an Alien flying Higher, and She's A Rebel, so he tells her, “You! Why Don't You Get A Job? Because I'm Gonna Be 500 Miles from here tonight.

Air

You are the very air I breathe
You are everything I need you to be
You make my soul feel free
Your love grows forever inside me
